KING
OF
SHAVES’
AZOR
The
must-have
item
Grooming giant enters the razor
market with industry-changing results
Pure in form and effortless in its function,
the Azor ‘hybrid synergy’ shaving system
is King Of Shaves’ radical and muchanticipated
first foray into shaving
hardware, doing for the system razor
what Apple did for the MP3 player.
Designed with shaving simplicity
in mind, this covetable piece of plastic,
stripped back to its most functional
and integral components, is also the
first completely British-designed,
engineered and manufactured system
razor created in over 100 years.
Initially available in black ‘Warp’ or
white ‘Pola’, the Azor will be released in
a full range of fashion colours next year.
All of the superfluous components and
functions have been removed, with the
attention placed on the parts that count.
These include high-performance multiblade
endurium-coated system cartridges
and a patented reflex elastomeric hinge/
pivot system (a springy material like that
used in the head of a flexible toothbrush).
There’s also a skin pretensioner (a
bumper component) built into the handle,
unlike on other razors where it’s attached
to the blade component and wastefully
thrown away when the blade wears down.
All of this attention to detail, putting the
effort in where it counts, has resulted in
streamlining the manufacturing process
to make the Azor the most cost-effective
disposable razor money can buy.
It’s available now online at the King
Of Shaves website and selected branches
of Sainsbury’s, then rolls out to Boots
nationwide on 21 July. The Azor system
razor costs £4.99 and includes a
handle and three replacement blades.
Endurium-coated replacement blade
refills are priced £4.99 for a pack of
four or £9.49 for a pack of eight.
