moscow to witness the unveiling
of Bmw’s new 7 Series, we weren’t

motormen had erected a giant
hourglass – and stuck the new
luxury sedan right in the top.
Situated between the Kremlin
and the unmistakable St Basil’s
cathedral, it was four months in
the planning, took 20 men 216 hours
to build, holds 180,000 silver balls, is
crafted from acrylic and steel and, at
40ft in height, is, perhaps
unsurprisingly, the biggest
hourglass in the world.
the sparkling new 7 Series
was revealed in style as the balls
poured through into the lower half
of the hourglass to the tunes of
moscow’s Bolshoi ballet orchestra.
the Bmw is out in November,
but pricing has yet to be revealed.
